Crinoid-2 Waldron Eucalyptocrinites crassus Southern Indiana-Trilobite Fossil

Offered here is an uncommon Eucalyptocrinites crassus crinoid from the southern most exposure of the Waldron Shale Formation from Clark County, Indiana, Silurian in age. The crinoid on the left measures 1 3/4” wide and 1 1/4” tall. The matrix measures 3 1/4” x 2 1/2”. The crinoid on the right measures 2” wide and 1 1/2” tall. Prepared almost free of matrix. These crinoids are getting harder to find due to collecting localities banning fossil hunting or only allowing field trips a few times a year. There is some slight damage on the crown. This piece was found 15 years ago and just recently prepared. If you have purchased multiple items, please do not send payment until I send an invoice.
